HI GUYS! I thought I’d do a diy post because I always love coming up with ways to make my own things and make my own adjustments. Especially soon as I have little money and this latest diy cost me £1.50 altogether!
All you need: some of this lacey-stuff, an old necklace/a catch and hooks, matching thread, needle.
This is so so easy, honestly! All I did to make this was grab some of this flower lace-stuff from my local market for £1.50 (which is a bit of a rip off). Anyway, then I raided my jewellery box for a necklace/bracelet I didn’t use. In there I found the necklace above that I was given from someone aaages ago from a huge box of jewellery they didn’t want. It’s pretty but I never wear it so I ripped off the catch and the other end. Using some cream thread I own, I simply sewed it on each side. There was no ‘right side’ ‘wrong side’ because the flowers turn over and they’re the same both sides. I also really liked the look of the catch, because it’s kind of interesting.
The reason I love this so much is because it’s easy and flexible. You could grab any of this lacey-stuff and do the same thing.
What do you guys think? Are you big DIY-ers? Do you like this one? What are you reading?
